Lucia Heumann Ana Lucia Heumann Ruiz is the child of a Spanish mother and a German father. She lives in Hamburg and still goes to school. Lucia is 14 years old and discovered her passion for photography at the age of 11. It’s important to her to express feelings and inner, fleeting moments. A moment that remains held in its fluid movement without being judgmental or following trend. A timeless time capsule. The interpretation of time and movement, playing with the speed of her young life and maintaining and appreciating the moment when she presses the shutter button is the focus of her work. Lucia takes photos with an analog and technically purely manual camera. She develops her films herself in order to get the most real and haptic experience possible with the photos. This analog process in our digital environment makes Lucia’s pictures appear from another time. In addition to her love for photography, she’s also a gifted painter.
