Miranda Uijttewaal Born Dutch and based in Belgium for almost 2 decades, I am a self taught artist working mainly with acrylics on canvas. The love for painting faces, mostly woman, was the after affect of being a hairdresser for a long time. Each of my works is the result, never really planned, of the continuous interaction between what I feel and what is revealed on the canvas. Leading by energy, layer by layer, giving it shape and color. All of the woman in my work have something strong and soft, leading by my heart and followed by love.
