Three Graces collage series challenges the depiction of the female nude within the western art historical canon. The ideal woman, as described by the three graces motif from Greek mythology, is dismantled through multiplicity in this series of works. Additionally, by incorporating elements of women’s work, such as ironing and pattern making, the Three Graces series celebrates aspects of femininity.
