Lives and works in Tokyo.
She majored in oil painting and printmaking at art college. After graduating, she worked as a sales assistant at a Japanese confectionery shop, while continuing to develop her artistic practice.
She began sharing her work on social media in 2022. Her artist name, Eijitsuka, comes from the Japanese word for figs introduced from China, which happen to be her favorite fruit.
She primarily works on water-soaked drawing paper mounted on panel, using gesso as a base and creating with acrylic gouache.
