Anita Hashemi Moghaddam is a visual artist based in Iran, and was born in 1982. She has a bachelor in graphic design from Sooreh University of Arts, and also has a master in illustration from Azad University of Tehran. She’s taught for about 10 years in Elmi karbordi uni-versity, and collaborated with a wide range of publishers and magazines in the field of il-lustration and graphic design. During her professional career, Anita has passed some courses under the supervision of art masters such as: Bijan Sayfouri, Hossein Maher and Pooya Aryanpour.she has taken part in several domestic and international expos in illustration and graphic design, which led to winning some prizes. Moreover, she has had a number of group exhibitions in video art and Installation. her first individual exposition took place in Vali Art Gallery under the title of “EPIDERMIS”. Anita assisted video art and Installation to express her attitude towards personal experiences. She believes no matter how personal these experiences might be, they have a sorf of social aspect, which cause audiences to communicate and empathize with them. Because all situations she has lived in, with all their wounds, scars, good and bad moments, have an outer side that is familiar to audiences, despite their differences, and this is the connection point between Anita and her audience.
