This mixed media piece is inspired by the tree of life. Although it may appear dead during the long winter months, new life emerges in the spring, greenery is vibrant in the summer, and changing colors emerge in the fall. The roots are strong, deeply imbedded in the soil which supplies the tree with nourishment and strength. Gold leaf surrounds the tree reminding us of the divine light that surrounds everything.
