Two years ago, I made my dream come true: my own painting studio. Ever since, I've spent a lot of time painting, which has been a passion of mine since childhood.
I live and work in the east of Switzerland, where my work has been presented in various exhibitions.
In my view, painting is meditation, being at one with myself, and losing myself in the col-ors and shapes. Art is a language that doesn't require words. Art instead does inspire, stimulate, move, and touch. A painting emerges step by step from an idea. There is no right or wrong, everything is admissible, every piece fits in. Experiencing flow while paint-ing makes me forget my surroundings. It is a state of pure happiness, an oasis in a world that is turning ever faster.
I created the new "Living Colors" series during the Covid period. The human being has moved even more into the center of my work - inspired by individuals, their stories, and their experiences in this crisis. "Living Colors" reflects the diversity and the uniqueness of every single person.
