Asia Marangon, aka Tsikla, is a young Italian painter from Treviso. Since she was a child she showed a strong interest in art but only devoted herself fully to it following severe emotional pain. Artistic creation, conceived as a catharsis and deep meditation, has allowed her not only to transform personal pain into something positive and constructive but at the same time to get to know herself better and to explore and externalize her inner world. In Tsikla's artworks abstract shapes, bright colors and the combination of different textures predominate. The pictorial effects are the result of a long process of research and experimentation conducted on UV light, which allowed her to explore the infinite creative possibilities offered by light and its nuances. The artistic research focuses on the creation of artworks that reflect the beauty and complexity of nature, using colors and shapes that recall the ocean waves, the shapes of the plants and the shades of the colors of the sky. The natural elements, protagonists of the paintings, express the moods and sensations perceived by the artist, transmitting them to the observer through a unique visual and emotional experience. Tsikla has also dealt with Street art, creating numerous graffiti and murals; she experimented Body painting and Fluid art. She participated in the redevelopment of the Vittorio Veneto area with the construction of a bench against violence on women and worked as a trainer, holding art courses for children aged 12 and over.
