Joseph Géoui was born in 1949. After university studies in cinema and audiovisual, he branched off into sales and management, then created a real estate company.

In parallel with a flourishing associative life and practicing active listening by accompanying people at the end of their life, Joseph Géoui began to paint more than 30 years ago and practiced ceramics at the Potter workshop in Geneva.
Self-taught, he learned to paint in oil by reproducing works by Fernand Léger and the customs officer Rousseau. For its faster drying time, he now prefers to use acrylic.

His practice of audiovisual arts has led him to reflect on the composition of the message, the perception of reality and the interpretation of the viewer.

In conclusion :

After a long period of maturation, the production of several hundred works, both figurative and abstract, and a few exhibitions, he thinks he has finally found his style with a technique based on automatic drawing and observation.
