The labyrinthine meanders of the mind seem to be the silent protagonists of the work Who Ate The Apples, by R. Burak Tekelioğlu. The artist's symbolic approach creates an astonishing concatenation of figurative and geometric elements, combining different styles in a unique and harmonious composition. It is an inexhaustible carousel of inspirations, which manifests itself starting from the left side of the work, which recalls the leaded pieces of a sumptuous stained glass window; but we can also recognise references to African art, to abstract art, up to Surrealism. The delicate floral sequence is also particularly striking, reminiscent of the graceful botanical illustrations of medicinal plants. Fragments of reality continuously intertwine with the imagination, giving life to an authentic and original vision of which the artist makes us the lucky receivers.
