Artist Statement:
“I consider myself a sculptor, practically all my work is based on volumes, emptiness, space, depth, textures...When I work with wood and stone I like to have a personal dialogue with the material and work without any type of sketch or drawing and be able to say that the result is the dialogue I have with this log or stone. On the other hand, we could say that the main foundation of my work is confusion, confusion that I intend to cause the viewer as in my series, where digital works often have little to do with the original sculpture, giving the viewer the opportunity to see what he wants to see. In this series I have also sought speed to be able to create many works, that is why I have used the plasticine that I had previously used in other types of sculptures and textures”
