My name is Murat Turfanda from Istanbul/Turkey and I have been in advertising sector since 2010 in Turkey and abroad (Dubai/UAE) managing client services department. I believe because of the sector that I have been working at and my personal interests made me to start creating artworks digitally. Creation only is not enough for me to finalise an artwork. I have to write down the rationale of the artwork to finish it. The feelings, emotions, occasions, situations, norms and traditions, which we physically cannot hand it, attracts my interest while creating my artworks in an abstract way. It might sound cliché but the art has always been part of my life. Even if I might have focused on creating artworks digitally, I love all art forms (opera, dance, theater, literature, cinema etc.) because each of them has their impeccable uniqueness and this takes my attention and appreciation. In other words feeding myself with uniqueness to create uniqueness. In addition, non-physical concepts are my main focus area. The reason is that I believe showing, displaying, explaning and even proving concrete things are easier compare to the concepts that we cannot hand, touch, see, smell or hear it. These are both exist and not exist. Therefore, inspiring people and in case of changing their life positively with my artworks and philosophy behind it is my main motive while creating my artworks.
