Description:
Sentient beings, according to the definition of Buddhism, refer to beings with consciousness, sensation and feeling, usually talking about human beings. I believe the “appearance”, i.e., what is demonstrated in the world, is formed by the mental / the inner conditions of a sentient being. In other words, the mind creates heaven itself.
Heaven is a fantasy for a lot of people, and what heaven looks like is probably based on our on-going experiences, feelings, or perhaps our comprehension of life. Heaven, for most of us, is a very beautiful place, full of happiness and joy without any suffering at all. A place that united with God, with no separation anymore…. or a place to escape from reality? Many interpretations out there. However, it is hard to feel grateful if we have already believed life is suffering even when the door of heaven is right in front of us. The attitudes towards the world and how we see ourselves are fundamental to create the heaven that belongs to us.
My imagination of heaven consists of lots of colours…. so vibrant.... soft but powerful vibes that cleanse all impurities away. Endless flowers release fragrances...lively insects enjoying themselves…. just feeling so right and so comfortable when everything comes together. I imagine when I see my heaven one day, and I realise that I am here already because I created this painting.
All is created by our mind, and karma actuates us to perceive what heaven is and what not heaven is. Heaven appears when you see your God. It could appear in every single moment, and in every single place. Bringing heaven on earth could be a lot simpler than you could imagine.
