Bio
I have had a love for art and writing my entire life. Born and raised in Florida, a lot of my pieces have a beautiful nautical feel. Having had my own struggles and triumphs in life, I also love to bring emotion into my pieces. Can you look at them and see what I was thin-ing? Many of my original pieces are a gorgeous array of color. Many of them include original driftwood. New to my site, is my new series, "Art Internal," a mix of paint pours and portrayals of emotion. My past achievements include displays in Gallery 526 in West Palm Beach, Florida; The Morean Art Center in St. Petersburg, Florida; Las Laguna Gallery in Laguna, California; and providing commissioned art pieces of epoxy work, woodwork, and customized guitar art. I have received awards in public speaking awards and writing as well. My personal favorite was completing my children's book, "Pretty, Pretty Peacocks,” written and illustrated by yours truly, based on a true story, and featured in newspapers! I currently have begun some great YouTube tutorials as well, creating a full immersive experience, blending music and art with a new creative theme in each! Although, art is not my day job, I dive in every chance I get! One of my favorite things to do is make the old and worn fresh and beautiful again. Frequently, I explore thrift stores looking for my next restoration treasure. With my amazing children and husband by my side, I am setting out to share my artwork even more! Having a lifelong love of art, I have always found a peaceful place in creating. Whether immersing myself in the world around me or drowning it out, diving into my creations has always brought an indescribable freedom to my life. As a young mother, I used my art to create for my children and family. Now, years later, I look forward to turning my passion into a dream realized. I enjoy using multiple mediums such as acrylics, epoxy, and wood. My original paintings, renovations projects, and sculptures have allowed me to expand on my expressions when breathing life into each piece. Art has been there to dance across the canvas in celebration of my most precious moments. Art has enveloped me in comfort while tears have rolled down my face. Sharing that raw emotion through artistic expression, a sublime honor.
