Bio
A globetrotting photographer, I have been carrying out for years a work of visual research, of discovering the authenticity of the places visited. My source of inspiration are the people I met, the stories I lived, the landscapes that moved me most, during my travels in distant lands, in Asia, in Central America and above all in Africa, furrowing "the dust of world” as Nicolas Bouvier wrote in one of his famous travel books. During my travels I dwell on a photographic research with my analogue reflex. Then there are travel note-books that I fill with sketches and color studies. My palette is limited to 4/5 colors: primaries plus an earth and white. I focus on the contrast of temperatures between hot and cold, with particular attention to the play of light, work a lot on the play of light and shad-ow. I also work a lot on the study of composition, in order to create essential representations for even a symbolic narration of the scene
