Biography.
Born in Mie Prefecture, Japan.
As a child, I painted freely, following my feelings wherever they led me.
However, as I grew older, those moments became fewer, and my connection with myself and my heart felt more distant.
After a long period of inner darkness, I realized the importance of connecting with myself and the world through my senses.

In 2024, the image of “painting with my fingers” kept coming to me. When I tried it, I rediscovered the joy of free expression.
The time spent translating the warmth of life and spontaneous daily inspirations directly onto the canvas is not only a moment of creation but also a moment of healing and energy, gently warming the heart.
It feels as if the paintings themselves are speaking to me, enveloping me in a mysterious sensation.
With the desire to share this warmth with others, I have gradually begun expanding my activities through sales and exhibitions.

About My Work.
I work with acrylics and watercolors, using brushes or my fingers, but I do not adhere strictly to any technique. I paint freely, guided by inspiration.
I aim to create works that resonate with the viewer’s senses and emotions.
Each painting is a unique space with its own energy.

Artist Name.
The Japanese word “Uraraka” conveys brightness, warmth, calmness, and a pleasant feeling. I chose the name “Urara” with the hope of embodying this gentle, uplifting state.
