An emerging artist from New Zealand, I draw inspiration from life, current events, feminism and historical European architecture. Elements of my work can be quite literal, but can also include symbolism and often, as is the case in this piece, a hidden gem incorporated somewhere in the work. I have a love of impressionism, realism and figurative representation of visual stimuli. Where possible I try to create a dialogue between the paint, the canvas and the viewer. I endeavour to express through my art that which I am unable to articulate with my words.
