Bio

“Art as a lifeline. An absent father, an abusive mother, a monstrous brother among 7. Sexual abuse of which my brother was the author and the suicide of my sister are the traumas of my childhood. Badly equipped for life, I was unable to avoid these pitfalls: kidnapping, individual and collective rape, blows. Then I knew the psychological domestic violence suffered daily during my first marriage. I’ve had cervical surgery, many accidents and two cancers. I’ve been a nurse to help others, but it was wearing me down. And only four lights to help me survive: painting, my two sons and my new partner. Without these anchors I would have died a long time ago. Art is a wonderful and powerful way of resilience that I have appropriated since my youngest age. Painting allows me to exorcise my suffering and sublimate it. In 2005 I exhibited at the Salon of French Artists in Paris. Lover of colors and mediums, I paint every day. Today, brushes are my magical wands that allow me to make my life beautiful.”
