Bio
As a child I was always creative and I was always busy creating in all kinds of ways. At the HAVO I opted for the visual education subject and this was the subject I could look for-ward to every week. In the end I went to do the PABO and I worked in education for 5 years. Chosen for what made me happy, I made the choice to stay at home for our 4 chil-dren and I was also able to support my husband in the company. I feel blessed that I have the freedom and opportunity to make this choice at the time.
My and my husband's shared passion is that we have embarked on the path of personal development. We propagate this in various themes in our company and concept 'the Rusttheater'. The conversations, lessons and challenges we have here are the inspiration for my paintings.
These conversations are about getting to know ourselves, our inner child, the power and the love we have inside us. The fears that we possess as a person and the strength and power of ourselves that we can and can turn these fears and darkness into light. Where it is also good that both (light vs. dark-love vs. fear) are present, we live in a dualistic world after all. We can heal the dark parts in ourselves, so that we remember who we really are and what we are here for. That we may live from intuition and for me this translates into intuitive painting.
I paint with oil paint and acrylic and use different materials as a background. The styles I paint are the iconic style as well as abstract style.
