Photographer
Bio
I take photographs of familiar objects and landscapes,
such as objects in people’s daily lives and
familiar architectural structures and sublimate them into art.
What is important to me is not to take pictures of artistic subjects,
but to bring out the artistry in things
that at first glance appear to have nothing to do with art.
This is about finding the artistry. It is a photograph, but is not a photograph.
To express a photograph as art,
without keeping it within the framework of photography.
The graduation of light, the mystery of light, the complexity of light.
These can only be expressed because they are based on photographs.
I create works that allow viewers to enjoy multiple interesting aspects,
such as overlapping and transparency, rather than surface.
