Elena Plekhova was born on January 28th, 1980 in Tomsk / Russia and began to be inter-ested in art as a small child. As a child in her native Russia, Elena attended art school and graduated with honors. She continued her creative work at the Faculty of Architecture in Nizhny Novgorod. Architecture and painting were linked by a fine line that was expressed in the strict lines of the houses and emotional waves in the pictures. She exhibited her works in the gallery using the technique of stained glass. After a difficult diagnosis of can-cer, life changed its colors. On the canvases of evening cities everything began to play in rainbow tones, and the inner world and zest for life of the artist are painted in the pictures of a female body. Elena Plekhova has lived in Germany since 2019, and since then she has only devoted herself to art, combining her knowledge with a love of art and also pass-ing it on as an art teacher. Today she main works with oil, but she also likes to paint acrylic paintings. Her favorite subjects range from street scenes to portraits and still life.
