Bio
Artist Biography.
Born into a musical family, with a father who worked as a piano tuner and a mother who was a pianist, I grew up immersed in melody. Within this sound-filled environment, I began teaching myself to paint at an early age. From the beginning, my intention has been to create art with soul, works capable of bringing joy while gently inviting reflection on life itself.
My commitment to art deepened during my third-grade years. Observing students passing by from my veranda, I became acutely aware of the cruelty and absurdity often hidden within careless words. This realization marked a turning point, awakening in me a sensitivity to the weight of existence and the complexities of human experience. From that moment forward, my artistic practice became dedicated to themes of hope, life, and the importance of preserving one’s dreams.
At the age of 23, I held my first solo exhibition, an experience that opened the door to a broader artistic journey. Since then, my work has extended beyond the canvas, encompassing exhibitions at Ebisu Takashimaya, as well as projects in interior design and decor for music-related events. These diverse contexts have allowed me to explore and express my vision in ever-evolving forms.
Themes & Concept.
At the core of my artistic practice lies the concept of life itself. A childhood marked by illness and long periods spent in hospitals led me to continually question the meaning of existence. This inquiry remains the driving force behind the energy, depth, and layering present in my current works. Whether depicting animals or flowers, each subject is approached as a symbol of life’s enduring strength and its cyclical, regenerative nature.
Artistic Statement.
Every work I create carries a single, essential message: be strong. Having navigated a challenging path in my own life, I wish to offer more than encouragement to those facing hardship, especially children. Through my art, I hope to convey resilience, the courage to move forward, and the belief that new chapters are always possible. Like a flower that blooms despite adversity, my works aspire to embody hope. If even a brief moment of happiness or positivity reaches the viewer, then my purpose as an artist is fulfilled.
