Clarice Scire Costa (Fontaine) was born in 1978 in the city of Niterói, Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil. Her journey in her home country was full of diverse and inspiring experiences. During her childhood, she lived in a beautiful colonial house that housed an artistic studio. The art classes were taught by her father Antônio Machado, who is a great plastic artist, renowned in the city and holder of numerous titles and awards in major competitions throughout the country. Her mother introduced her to the world of music, cinema, sport and spirituality. At this stage, she had constant access to nature, which was the ideal place to play and unleash my imagination. The sand on the beach was her favourite material for making castles and sculptures.
In 1995, Clarice had the opportunity to come and live in Germany, a country with totally different culture, language, climate and people. This radical cultural change brought a great experience to her life. After going through the entire adaptation process, she graduated as an orthodontic assistant, and later built a family becoming the mother of a wonderful son. In 2021, she naturally began to draw and paint, and shortly after, she felt the need to improve her technical knowledge. At this time she started taking online classes with her father, acquiring a solid technical basis. Since then, she has dedicated herself 100% to the development of her arts. Despite painting on canvases, papers, and other materials, Clarice began to explore digital art with priority, using the Art Set program, which allowed her endless possibilities and even solved the problem of physical space caused by paintings painted on canvas. In the same period, she created her account on Instagran, Tin Tok and Facebook, to present her work to the world and create a network of interaction with other artists, galleries, and art-loving people. In addition, she opened an account on a digital platform at Opensea, to be able to negotiate my work in the NFTS format following this great world market trend.
