Born in 1953 in Oldenburg, Germany, Sabine Bachem immigrated with her parents in the same year, to Mexico. In 1955 we returned to Germany before leaving for England, where she and her brothers went to bording school.
With longer stays in Barcelona, in Oberallgäu, in Hannover, in Pakistan and Hamburg she settled down as a qualified book restorer with her family in the Münsterland.
She is now a full time artist.
