Ela Bochenek is a creative soul. She was born in Poland and currently resides in the quiet seaside town of Scarborough (UK). She has a master's degree in pedagogy and she has worked for nearly 10 years in education. Years ago, in Poland, her main passion was linocut and pen and ink drawings. Ela has participated in several exhibitions and conducts workshops on creativity and communication. When she moved to England in 2010, her creativity came and went, and she was slowly becoming a hobby she almost never had time for. A few years ago, she suffered from a breakdown and decided to take a break from it all, she found an exciting new job at the Museums Trust and, on her journey to recovery, she started creating again. First simple pen and ink drawings, then watercolors and now she is falling in love with abstract form and acrylic painting. In the last two years she has devoted herself completely to painting: her journey into art has just begun.
