Bio

Rosana Kossatz Menezes Alves was born on October 14th, 1966, in the city of Ponta Grossa, state of Paraná, Brazil. She is married to Edson Durval Menezes Alves, with whom she has two children, Rafael and Marina. She studied Arts at PROEX, at the State University of Ponta Grossa, in the 1990’s, and is an artist. For 16 years she was the financial director of CRO (Centro de Re-habilitação Oral), a family business in the dental area with more than 30 years of experience. She is a grandmother and writes her first book to be an optimistic message in this fraught time of a pandemic that overwhelms the planet. "Every form of expression that manages to create an ex-change between people is very gratifying." Every artist is an observer, his or her main job is to make the invisible visible: that which is within the very soul and comes to light in the form of colors and feelings, revealing the purest and most intimate content of the unconscious mind. Through observation an artist perceives the true world hidden behind the apparent world, awakening inner needs to the new and sensitive innate artistic concept. Any artistic manifesta-tion is important, for it translates the purest cultural demonstration of a people and its time. All forms of expression are important because they are an exercise of sensitivity and the art of living. The nature of every artist is an eternal quest. Through art, an artist can re-establish inter-nal connections and thus purify his or her own feelings, making way for sensitive perception in order to fine-tune a channel for self-improvement. Art is the feeling itself, it is sustenance! It is the game of the spirit in the factory of passion… Love, lack of love, life and art… Originality…
