Descriprion
This painting depicts the view into my grandfather’s house from outside the back wall. The window frame emphasises that the perspective is from the outside looking in. The door frame on the right leads to a bathroom, which has a yellow window facing inward, but it seems to have never been opened, leaving its purpose unclear. The blue rectangle is actually a cabinet embedded in the wall, but I turn it into a window here to give the space a unique character. There are two more rooms in the back, followed by a large red door leading to the street outside. This space isn’t particularly complex; it is more about viewing familiar things from an unusual angle.
