This piece is a reflection on the deep rooted struggles in our head. Shining a light on one's vulnerability and strength. Inspired by the artist's journey on her own experience with depression and journey to
self acceptance, It aims to communicate on how we view mental illness, it should not be considered as
something bad or wrong with a person.
There is true beauty in embracing one's true & vulnerable self, because that's what makes us human and brave. How acknowledging our inner feelings, the good & bad, is pertinent and freeing. It may all start in a place of darkness, but if we keep on taking steps of courage, we do more than reclaim who we are, with boundless wonder and grace.
