Lidia Dale-Mesaros is a self-taught artist who works with the energy of colours and textures, influenced by her connection to the spirit world and a life in close contact with huskies. She brings these worlds together and creates a magical story on canvas that takes the viewer on a spiritual journey through art and the inspirational messages that pass through each painting. Daughter of immigrant parents, she grew up in the UK and later moved to the United States. Art has been an escape route for her during the difficult times her family faced trying to create a new life for themselves as post-World War II refugees. She painted large murals on buildings, on large pieces of wood. She painted signs and even furniture. Anything that could be painted on was a great inspiration for her. At that time, while working with her husky team, a great physical challenge led her to a spiritual awakening and this experience changed her life and united her spirit with art and huskies.
