Şafak Eyüboğlu started to draw with graphite pencil in 2021 with his unexpected expression in the world of art where he is involved in with his abstract paintings. The starting point of his new expansion was the project of carrying out theatrical texts written as short stories to the stage. However, over time, the figures drawn by the artist left the stage and began to take place in his daily life. He formed other figures for the character he designed. They had fights with each other, too. The artist also included figures with different bodies and different expressions, whose faces he changed. Besides, he patterned them as child figures. They were not happy again...
The artist begins his drawings as an improvisation. An imaginary human face... Then he knits a body for it. Without a visionary point. Without even being sure that he will be able to complete his drawings... He continues to form his patterns in a way that reflects "Now"... He sees himself in a place where there is no end. The patterns of Safak Eyuboglu are like an open scene which he would fictionalise at that moment. The artist’s observations are also among these different people he draws. Safak Eyuboglu’s drawings are an effort to open a new path between the audience and disagreement and deadlock.
