Bio

I was born in 1983 in the north of Germany at the Baltic Sea. I took part in my first photo competition when I was a teenager. I actually wanted to study photography, but then I decided to study the human psyche. Today I work during the day with people who have mental illnesses and after work I try to put the emotions, processes and events of the day into photos if the day requires it. the series of artworks "process" was originally called "at my table" and was inspired by a working day. the series "in between" deals with an inner conflict in which the boundaries between security and insecurity, desire and hope become blurred. I want to share, process and express emotions with my pictures and I always try to convey hope even if it's sometimes difficult in these times. the connecting element between my day job and art are the emotions. pictures can be powerful and sometimes more than words. Creativity is a healing source. for the creator and the viewer. I try to use this power during the day and after work.
