The picture is based on this quote from Rumi: “Your dance inside my chest where no-one sees you but I do, and that sight becomes this art” (RUMI). He describes my longing for my grand-children and my great grandchild, but also the joy coming from their bare existence. This be-came even more obvious and important during the pandemic and the picture is dedicated to these wonderful human beings. We haven’t seen each other for a long time because of the pan-demic. You dance in my heart every second. I illustrate this dance using figures having synchro-nized and repeated movements. The colors are quite light and the figures are almost white og slightly transparent, in order to describe the volatility of relations that is being created and rec-reated in a dance that never ends as long as you long and love. Love does not last, it is being created and recreated and recreated in a wonderful dance…
