Rebecka Forbes I am a 23-year-old artist from North West England and have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. As a child I was inspired by my artistic father and the many places I have travelled, wanting to be able to bring the colours and scenes of the world to permanent life through pencil and paint. As a self-taught artist, I have experimented with graphite, charcoal, lead pencils, acrylic, oil and watercolour paints, although my favourite mediums will always be acrylic paints and a variety of lead and charcoal pencils. I have completed various commissions including landscapes, portraits, animals, and beautiful photographed scenes translated to canvas. Art is my way of expressing my view of the world and capturing singular moments and feelings in a physical manifestation, while being able to quietly appreciate the natural beauty of the images during the process of creating.
