Magda Al-Hashmi is a Visual Artist and Experiential Spaces Designer. Born in the small town of Olsztyn, Poland and raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Her love of design lead her to Europe after finishing high school, where she pursued her design studies in the UK and Italy. Obtaining a Bachelor degree in Interior Architecture in Brighton, UK and a Master in Interior Design in Milan, Italy. Not quite ready to say goodbye to Italy she worked for a multidisciplinary design studio in Milan before finally settling back to work in Dubai. Having always admired the world of Art, Architecture and Interiors she has steadily educated herself in those fields. With a growing interest to create visual environments and compositions she decided to fuse her creative skills to create settings inspired by emotion and storytelling. Art in any form, has the power to transform and enrich on a deeply emotional level directly influencing our well-being and day to day perspective. She wants her work to inspire wonder, positivity, serenity and joy. Creating an inspiring visual story that can resonate differently with every individual. Her favorite mediums include oils and pencils as well as digital painting. She is naturally drawn to vibrant palettes, fluid and organic forms, the human lines and surrealistic environments. Having worked in the world of interiors she has developed a sensibility that enables her to understand how to visually enhance a space through art. She is able to offer her artistic advice and collaborate to create bespoke works for various interiors and experiential events.
