Meet Somebody is first meeting an ego. A beneficent ego, an evil ego, an ego which inevitably imposes its history, its wounds, its wanderings, its desires, its wills on you.
This meeting is necessary, unavoidable in order to interact with the Other.
You have to “let it go” in you.
Some see it as a struggle, others as an opportunity.
For me, it is often, quite simply, not to lose myself in the infinitely great need of the Other.
