Manuela Moldovan Bio: I was born in Romania, a beautiful country. I moved to Canada with my family and found a new place to enjoy nature. My parents opened my eyes to understand better music, dance, fashion, arts in general. I have been working as a licensed pharmacist for many years. I became a full time artist as soon I retired. Along the years I continued exploring and looking for new techniques, inspired by nature. Lately, I created mixed media collages using a multitude of materials like acrylic, oil, cold wax, dry pigments, alcohol ink, sand, organic materials, textiles, Japanese paper, and photographs from my trips. My favorite themes are always flowers and trees, life and energy, focusing on color and concept of vertically, unity.
