Bio

Roxanne Pechin is a young artist of 29 years. She started her artistic journey two years ago after a long convalescence. As a child, she dreamed of brushes, pencils, and paint, but life caught up with her and she concentrated on so-called "conventional" work before realiz-ing that this was not her path. It was not her way. She tried various artistic experiences: at the age of 13, she had the chance to enter the closed world of dubbing for two years. Then she went to live in the south of France for two years where she was "a tile maker by day, a singer by night" as she likes to say. When she returned to the Paris region, two years after resuming her studies, Roxanne was admitted to the prestigious Parisian theater course, Le Cours Florent. The family and social pressure was so great that Roxanne left this institution and went to work as an assistant director. Then the disease knocked on her door. She had to face the fact that an office job was no longer possible. But what Roxanne didn't know was that this illness would be her opportunity. Roxanne remembered telling her mother, when she was about 13 years old, without even having touched a paintbrush, that she would be an artist when she grew up. She knew it. So during this long recovery she grabbed her pencils and started working on her art. Progressively, social networks al-lowed her to get several opportunities: an article in Sylph magazine (India) in 2021, vari-ous exhibitions in France. During this first exhibition, Roxanne was lucky enough to be spotted by one of her colleagues and this is how her career really started. Roxanne says that from resilience comes a lot of happiness.
