Seon Yoo is a self-taught painter and designer based in Seoul, Korea. Through her artworks, characterized by an abstract technique, she constantly strives to create something beautiful. Turning a passion into a career, Seon Yoo is inspired by great artists such as Henri Mattise, Vin-cent Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, Claude Monet and Matthew Wong. She works mainly with acrylics expressing herself through an abstract and impressionist style, which we can admire in her fantasy landscape paintings. For Seon, painting is an unconscious language that cannot be ex-pressed in words. Her paintings are the result of a translation of emotions expresses through the meeting of shapes and colors, as well as the reflection of her thoughts, passions and impulses. The artist tends to use bright colors to reinvigorate the natural features from their original shapes and chromatic tones. Her paintings are currently exhibited in many collections around the world in Asia, Europe and the United States.
