The lotus is a special flower to me. Personally, lotus flowers represent Asia where my heritage is rooted as well as the memories of family. Night Lotus 2 is a tranquil lotus flower field at night while the flowers still glisten in the moon light even after everyone has gone home. Lotus grows in muddy water that is not pretty to look at. But the lotus flowers thrive in this murky mess, covering the water with its own beauty. As the world seems to grow more deprived day by day, we need more lotus-like beings to cover the ugliness with their own peace, love, and kindness—someone who is willing to be a lotus flower whether there is anyone to praise her or not.
