My intention was to create a town, a place where people live and this town is fluid and alive like a living thing. What I wanted was a sense of comfort, and what I imagined was the texture of “ro” (silk gauze), the fabric used in Japanese kimonos. I was imagining the texture of the fabric of the Japanese kimono, worn in summer, with its light and refreshing touch.
