Seta Nua
Digital Artist
Bio
Seta Nua is a Parisian surrealist artist living in France. Having grown up in an artistic family, Seta studied Graphic Arts at the 'Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art et Design de Nancy', where she specialised in Visual Communication. These studies shaped her mind enabling her to use strong concepts in her creation process.
After working for many years in the industry and services sector, she returned in 2018 to her initial passion for art making by choosing digital expression.
The surreal collages Seta creates, feature elements from pop culture and symbolisms; combining contradictory narratives to convey hidden meanings of current affairs and the human condition. Her sources of inspiration are science-fiction, the oniric worlds of surrealist artists like Salvador Dali, Kay Sage but also those the works of Hieronymus Bosch, Peter Paul Rubens and Maurits Cornelis Escher.
