Gabor Kerekes was born in 1986 in Budapest, Hungary. His father's interest in computing gave him an early chance to access computers which nailed Gabor in front of the screen, spending his free time and school hours studying to be a multimedia developer and a hobby digital art maker. He spent nearly a decade focused on graphic design, until an influence from a romance pushed him towards painting. His newly discovered passion for painting led him to attend courses at one of Budapest's art schools on the weekends, chiselling his skillset.
In 2016, after an exhausting period of years in advertising, he decided to quit his job and ended up heading towards England to start something new. This change led us to his current journey, trying to succeed in the art-world with his paintings, digital artworks and photos. His paintings are influenced deeply by the previous design impulses gathered from his commercial experience. Gabor also attends live art competitions and has been featured in the art magazine called “WEAREZANNA”.
