In many cultures, Fire represents a way of reaching the gods.
Agni is the word for fire in Hindi.
This artwork is a representation of a woman’s sacrifice and shows her inner Fire and strength that creates life.
Playing different roles in her life a woman sacrifices a lot in terms of being a daughter, a mother, and a wife. She does all of this unselfishly and willingly. Just like Agni purifies everything, a woman’s constant sacrifice is like a trial by Fire which results in purification of lives of others close to her.
