Reynaldo Quijada was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1986. His mother is Galician and his father is from Caracas. He is a filmmaker and artist, with a master's degree in Film Direction from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) in Barcelona, Spain. His short films have earned him international awards and have been premiered in a wide selection of film festivals around the world. In addition, he is an executive producer and director in charge of the Panama City headquarters of Albiñana Films, a Spanish advertising film production company, and founder of ReyFilms, a film company with which he develops his first feature film as a director. He creates an artistic discourse based on light captured in photography and color, which he calls "The Shape of Light". He has exhibited in galleries in Panama, Spain, at ART3F in Monaco and soon in Italy and the Metaverse. He is an NFT Artist at Fouda- tion and more recently at KnownOrigin. His artwork "Danza de Luz y Oscuridad" was part of the auction of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Panama in 2020 and his work "Relatos de Juegos de Mesa" is the centerpiece of the visual design of the 13th edition of the Hayah - Panama International Short Films Festival in 2021.
