I am Sanja Raonić, painter from Montenegro. After attaining a formal education I create and exhibit in the Balkans. I communicate most expressively through drawing. I combine draftsman and painter techniques on paper. I balance myself on a thin line that separates the painting from a drawing and I am unaware of the limit through the process. Through a series of cycles that encompass my creator's opus i deal with the woman and her existence as a central motif. The identity of a woman of the 21st century is a consequence of consumerism as a life choice and is evident in the way she expresses herself through communication in various life roles. With the last cycle titled „PARTI – EMANCIPATE / participate through liberation“ in a sequence of personal expressions, drawn images, I define the emancipation of a woman in the 21st century with irony. The line is my tool in communication, and the media is mixed on paper.
