Bio
Judith Ménard, alias Ju-Dite Men-Art, trained social worker and emerging painter!
It was in adversity that I started to created: survivor of breast cancer, which I was diag-nosed on July 28th 2020, a date that will eternally be engraved in my memory.
This creativity buried in me for several years was finally able to express itself! It was through art therapy that I discovered myself as an artist. I favored acrylic pouring to give free course to my creativity. Pouring is a technique of fluid painting and layering of colors. I have always been fascinated by abstract art and vibrant colors, so acrylic pouring was a perfect match for me! Creating has brought me deep relief and comfort in the most tu-multuous times of my life. It made me resilient when nothing else could. I can know say that, through this ordeal, something beautiful and wonderful emerged.
My artistic approach is intended to be intuitive and rooted in the present moment. I give free rein to my feelings, to what lives within me here and now.
