Designer and artist, born in San José, Costa Rica. Flowers, especially wild and tree flowers, are her means of personal and artistic exploration. She developed her sensitivity for flowers after living in ashrams in Italy and Costa Rica, dedicated to the ancient teachings of the spiritual culture of India where flowers are considered the most special offerings due to their great beauty and subtle energy. Hence, her love for simplicity. She believes that beauty is not only found in what is visible to human eyes, therefore within her designs and sculptures the empty spaces and the decadent shapes of dead flowers are fundamental. She is now exploring and experimenting with paper flowers. Daniella currently works as an art director and recently published her first AMMA book documenting her work with flowers from its beginning to the present day.
