Bio

Gen Sei Kawamura Graduated from Tama Art University (Oil Painting Course, Department of Painting) in 1977. Just after the graduation, held a solo exhibition under abstract expressionism. Since then Gen Sei has been working both on abstract and figurative painting. Since 2001, with a focus on abstract painting, Gen Sei has exhibited his artwork 14 times in Japan and overseas. In 2017, hosted the fourth “Mt. Fuji and Shizuoka Artists” exhibition at the Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art.
