Ilona Dovhan was born in Ukraine transplanted to Italy. She has been fascinated by watercolors since she was a child, a passion that I neglect to rediscover during the 2020 lockdown. Initially, she dedicated herself to reproducing the works of other artists to slowly find her personal form of expression: oil painting with material strokes. Her art is the search for a lost place, a home, a feeling.
