Bio

I am a student of painting at Musashino Art University in Japan (entering in 2020), majoring in oil painting, and at the same time I am an artist working in Japan. I have been painting since I was a child and graduated from Kaywon middle school of art (2014, 2017) and Kaywon high school of art (2017, 2020), both of which are affiliated with prestigious art foundations in Korea. After that, I decided to study at an art university in Japan because I wanted to meet and experience more diverse cultures, people and the world of art in it. I am still very active in my work and research, participating in public exhibitions, organizing solo exhibitions, designing and illustrating book covers.

I draw pictures about people's emotions, or to be more precise, my emotions. I think that peo-ple are very sensitive, sensitive and contradictory animals. We have countless complex emotions other than those defined by words like "happy", "happiness", "sadness" and "frustration". For example, we can be so happy that we shed tears, or we can hate someone and love them at the same time. I have been working on the theme of these complex and contradictory emotions, documenting in my paintings the moments that have made an impression on my mind, the mo-ments when different emotions collide with each other and become one.

Some people say that I am only 20 years old and what do I know? But I feel that age does not matter when it comes to feeling emotions, it is just a change of form. Therefore, I try to capture in my paintings the emotions that change as I grow up, such as "my 17 years old", "my 18 years old" and now "my 20 years old". I also want the viewer to be able to experience the same emo-tions and communicate with me through my paintings.

This is my goal, my dream and the reason why I paint now.
